31 Days to Stir Up

The Fire for the Harvest

One Scripture and one short prayer for each day. Pray it on the call, or carry it through your day.

Day 16 of 31 · Friday, October 16

Idols Exposed, Love for God Restored

How to pray today

  • Keep it short: pray for 3 to 5 minutes at most. A short prayer prayed with faith is enough.
  • Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join the call and pray together. Every voice counts, so don't hold back.
  • Read the Scripture aloud, pray the prayer below, then add your own words for the day's theme.

Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

Ezekiel 36:25-26 (NKJV)

    Psalm 139:23–24 (NKJV)

    Declare together

Search us, O God, and know our hearts. Try us and know our anxieties. See if there is any wicked way in us, and lead us in the way everlasting.

    Matthew 6:24 (NKJV)

Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
